2nd Annual Giving for Thanksgiving Round Up

For the second year in a row Mountain View Market Co+op is partnering with La Semilla Food Center to provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need.

From November 1 through November 22, we will be collecting money at the registers with our Round Up campaign. Shoppers will have the opportunity to “round up” their total to next dollar and the money will be used to offset the cost of the meals.

Each meal will include a non-GMO turkey, stuffing, sides and supplies to bake a pumpkin pie. These dinners contain the same high-quality, natural and organic foods that are for sale at the Co+op. Last year, through the generous donations from our shoppers, we raised enough funds to donate twenty meals and this year we are committed to donating twenty-six Thanksgiving dinners.

Donating spare change is a great way for shoppers to help the less fortunate during the holidays. A little bit of change can make a big impact

The Round Up was started in 2016 and to date has collected more than $4,250 in donations for local charities and organizations.
