In July, the Co+op Board hired Sierra Hirtzel as our new General Manager. Sierra has valiantly served the Co+op as Interim General Manager since September of last year. Through her stalwart leadership, the Co+op pioneered new methods for purchasing budgets, marketing, and departmental tracking—which is exciting news in the grocery world!
Adding to this all but typical year for the the co+op, the board went through a significant change as three board positions opened when life and career changes took board members out of state.

We have tallied the results and we are excited to announce that Dael Goodman, Scott Kamen, Lisa Pena, Angelica Rubio, and Xochitl Torres-Small have been elected to the open spots on the MVM Co+op Board of Directors. Valarie Holliday has been ratified as the staff member on the Board. The by-law change was approved.

Mountain View Market is seeking a General Manager. MVM Co-op has been serving Las Cruces and southern New Mexico for over 40 years.
The General Manager is responsible for the success and continuing growth of the grocery. Qualified candidates will have a background in retail food store management, preparing and meeting operational budgets, creating and growing a strong management team, and engaging with the public and media.
