Help Us Fill the Bus!

Mountain View Market Co+op is pleased to announce that July 16 - August 8, 2018, we are hosting a school supply drive and Round Up at the Register for local children in need. Supplies will be sorted and bundled into fifty supply kits for elementary, junior high and high school students. In addition to the supply drive, we're also hosting another Round Up at the Register to offset the cost of purchasing additional supplies.

School supplies individually are not super expensive, but when added up altogether, they are often more than some families can afford. As a co-operative, we follow the Seven Co-operative Principles. The seventh principle is "Concern for Community". This school supply drive, along with the Round Up, is part of our commitment to helping the community of which we are a part.

Over the years, through the donations from our Round Ups, we've been able to donate thousands of dollars to local non-profits and charities. Co-operatively, our Round Up donations can make a huge difference for local groups and those in need. By focussing our effort on providing school supplies for students, we together are making a huge difference in these young people's lives.
