The Round Up is a fundraising opportunity for local 501-c3 non-profit charities in the Mesilla Valley. In November 2016, Mountain View Market Co+op hosted its first Round Up at the Registers. In the time since, through the generosity of our shoppers, we have raised over $10,300 for local organizations. 

How it works

Round Up at the Register donation drives typically last for one month. During that time, we ask our shoppers at the end of their transaction if they would like to "round up' their total to the nearest dollar and donate the change to the designated charity. Shoppers can also donate any amount they choose and are often quite generous. Every penny of the donations goes directly to the selected charity.

Eligible charities are voted upon by our co-op owners during our Annual Owner Meeting held each October. Charities and organizations must complete the application on this page in full to be eligible. Applications are open from October 1 through September 30 each year.
